Matthew Conley is the Senior Director of Data Distribution and Strategy at the NBA, a position held since 2017. In this role, they developed a business and financial framework for pioneering partnerships between the NBA and sportsbook partners and are currently focused on enhancing basketball data capabilities for new media and gaming products. Prior to their tenure at the NBA, they worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from 2015 to 2018, where they led significant organizational change efforts and implemented machine learning techniques. Matthew also supported faculty and students as a Course Assistant at Wesleyan University from 2013 to 2014. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Economics at Wesleyan University.
