Michael Brady

Michael Brady currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Licensing, Commerce & Business Affairs at the National Basketball Association (NBA), a position held since May 2021. Prior to this role, Michael provided legal and business affairs counsel focused on consumer products and retail as Senior Associate Counsel within the NBA, and held various positions including Associate Counsel and Associate Director of Global Partnerships. Michael's career in the NBA began in 2006, with earlier experience as an Associate and Senior Coordinator. Before entering the NBA, Michael worked as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton from September 2016 to May 2021. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York Law School, an MBA in Marketing/Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, and a BS in Marketing/Finance from Fordham University.
