Sona Chakamian

Sona Chakamian is currently the Vice President of International Retail at the NBA, a position held since 1999. Prior to this role, they gained extensive experience in the retail sector, serving as a Buyer at Mark Cross from 1989 to 1992, a Product Manager at Coach for a year, and a Senior Associate Buyer at Gucci from 1993 to 1997. They also worked as a Planning Manager at MONDI from 1997 to 1999. Sona earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a marketing concentration from the University of Delaware's Lerner College of Business and Economics between 1984 and 1988.
