Tyler Wasserman has extensive experience in salary cap management and data analysis within the sports industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Salary Cap Management at the National Basketball Association since March 2018, Tyler has progressed through various roles in the organization, including Director and Senior Manager of Salary Cap Analysts. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Data Analyst at Nielsen and Client Services Associate at The Doman Group, where Tyler managed financial operations for high-profile clients. Tyler began a career in sports analytics as a Sports Content & Analytics Intern at Bloomberg Sports and demonstrated leadership skills as Vice Chair for the Syracuse University Sport Management Club Charity Sports Auction. Tyler holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Methods & Modeling from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Finance from Syracuse University.
