Danielle Smith

Danielle Smith joined NBC Trust Company at its inception as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer. Danielle was hired by Nebraska Bank of Commerce in August 2012 and currently is the Vice President of Compliance, Human Resources, Security, & Training for NBC while also assisting NBC Trust Company. Danielle was raised on a farm near State Center, Iowa. Danielle’s previous experience includes internal compliance work for a community bank in Iowa. When not at work, Danielle loves to travel, hike, backpack, and spend time with her husband Dr. Nathan Smith, who is a biochemical/medical researcher at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and their dog Kota.
