David Thomas

David Thomas serves as the Director of Physical Security Operations at NBCUniversal, overseeing security operations for various subsidiaries including DreamWorks Animation and Peacock, since July 2015. Previous roles at NBCUniversal include Senior Manager and Manager for Global Security Operations on the West Coast, managing all aspects of physical security and investigations. Prior to NBCUniversal, David Thomas spent 30 years at the City of Santa Monica Police Department, culminating in the role of Detective Sergeant, where responsibilities included overseeing sensitive investigations and risk management audits. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and an Associate's Degree in Administration of Justice from Santa Monica College.
