Eric Braate is the Weather Executive Producer at WNBC 4 New York, bringing over 20 years of experience in weather forecasting within the broadcasting industry. Having previously worked as a meteorologist at several stations, including WJXT and FOX6 Milwaukee, they have demonstrated a consistent ability to increase viewership through accurate forecasting and effective communication. Eric holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Geosciences/Meteorology from Mississippi State University, underpinning their expertise with a strong foundation in both analytical skills and physical science.
