Greg Bryant

Greg Bryant, P.E. is an experienced engineer specializing in ride safety compliance and public safety diving training. Currently serving as a Ride Safety Compliance Engineer at NBC Universal since May 2003, Greg has ensured compliance with California Department of Occupational Safety and Health and ASTM F24 Standards for numerous high-profile attractions. In addition, Greg has been an instructor at Kirby Morgan Professional Dive Center, training divers in surface-supplied equipment, and serves as Port Engineer at Pacific Subsea Inc., providing engineering support for submarine inspections. Greg's previous roles include Regional Engineering Manager at McLaren Engineering Group, Assistant Professor in Marine Technology at Santa Barbara City College, and consulting positions for major companies such as Netflix and Legendary Entertainment. Educational qualifications include a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and post-graduate studies in Robotics and Ocean and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UC Santa Barbara, respectively.
