John Burnett

John Burnett is currently the SVP of Sales Strategy & Development for Global TV Distribution in EMEA at NBCUniversal, Inc., a position held since 2011. Prior to this role, they served as SVP of Commercial Operations for Universal Networks International from 2010 to 2012 and were the VP of Network Development & Integration at NBC Universal Global Networks from 2004 to 2010. Burnett co-founded Seavantage, an internet startup focused on maritime industry solutions, from 1999 to 2002. Their earlier experience includes a decade at UBS as Director of Business Unit Control from 1987 to 1998. Burnett earned a BSc Hons in Mathematics from Durham University between 1980 and 1983.
