John Durso

John Durso is currently the Vice President of Community and Communications at NBC New York and Telemundo 47, where they serve as the chief spokesperson and oversee corporate social responsibility initiatives. Previous experience includes serving as the Senior Director of Corporate Communications at NJ TRANSIT and the Executive Director of the New York Affordable Reliable Electricity Alliance. John also held roles in communications for Monroe County and as part of Governor George E. Pataki's staff. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Siena College and completed a certificate program in Jurisdictional Crisis Incident Management at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
