John Parlee

John Parlee is currently the Sr. Director of Threat Defense at NBCUniversal, a position they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Park Place Technologies from 2020 to 2024. John has extensive experience in the field of information security, having held roles such as Director of Information Security at Carbon Black, Inc. and Senior Information Security Engineer at MITRE. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering and later received a Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer and Information Systems Security. Additionally, John served in various leadership roles within the US Army and United States Army Reserve.
