Jon Garcia is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in architectural design and master planning. Currently serving as Director of Design and Master Planning for Global Real Estate at NBCUniversal since August 2021, Jon has progressed through various roles including Sr. Design Manager and Design Manager within the same department. In addition to industry work, Jon contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Santa Monica College since August 2018. Prior to NBCUniversal, Jon held a Senior Designer position at AECOM and worked at Gensler as an Architectural Designer. Early career experience includes a summer internship at Gensler and an Architectural Intern role at HMC Architects. Jon holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University and participated in an exchange program at the University of Buenos Aires, earning another Bachelor of Architecture.
