Michael Swanson is an accomplished entertainment executive with extensive experience in production and project management. As the Senior Vice President of Production at NBCUniversal Media, LLC since August 2010, Michael has strategically supervised production operations for numerous acclaimed television series, including Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Good Place, while providing critical reports to the Head of Production. In addition, Michael founded Faith Filmworks, Inc. in January 1997, serving as President and CEO, where skills in identifying and managing commercially viable entertainment projects have been honed. Earlier experience as a Primetime Sales Associate at NBCUniversal involved national advertising sales for primetime and network news programs, contributing to a historic sales achievement. Michael holds a BA in Communications with a focus on Film/TV Production from the University of Notre Dame and furthered education at Princeton Theological Seminary.
