Omar Malik

Omar Malik is currently the Compliance Manager for Global Networks at NBC Universal, where they manage the compliance for 5 UK and 10 European channels while ensuring adherence to Ofcom regulations. Omar has held various roles in the media industry, including Senior VT Editor at Gulf DTH and Freelance Compliance Editor for both Paramount Comedy and Sci-Fi Channel UK. They began their career as a VT Recording Operator at BBC Television and later worked as a Freelance Compliance Viewer at Technicolor. Omar holds a PGCE with Honors from the Institute of Education, U. of London, and a BSc in Physics with Honors from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
