Raman Bedekar

Raman Bedekar is an experienced data scientist currently working at NBCUniversal since January 2022. Prior to this role, Raman served as Product Engineer 2 at Illumina from August 2018 to January 2022, where significant contributions included the rollout of statistical process control software to enhance manufacturing consistency, development of analytical tools that yielded annual savings of $2 million, and the establishment of a comprehensive data pipeline for analytics. Raman began at Illumina as Product Engineer 1, focusing on manufacturing KPIs and data transformation. Earlier roles included Information Systems Employee and Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and internships at Illumina and Edwards Lifesciences. Raman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, earned in 2018.
