Robert Baltazar

Vice President, TV Programming DEI

Robert Baltazar is an accomplished television programming executive with extensive experience in creative talent development and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of TV Programming DEI at NBCUniversal since February 2021, Robert leads various talent development programs for both scripted and unscripted content. Previous roles include Freelance Development Consultant for Vox Media and Discovery Studios, as well as Head of Non-Scripted Development at Meredith Corporation. Robert's earlier career includes significant positions at NBCUniversal Media, ITV Studios, Lion Television, and Warner Bros. Entertainment, where Robert was instrumental in the development of numerous successful television series. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Metropolitan Studies from New York University and a Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University.
