Malcolm Brogdon is a professional basketball player currently serving as a guard for the Boston Celtics since 2022. In addition to sports, Brogdon is dedicated to philanthropy as the founder of the Brogdon Family Foundation, established in 2020, which aims to promote equity through educational investments in the U.S. Brogdon has also held the position of Vice President at the National Basketball Players Association since 2019 and played for the Indiana Pacers from 2019 to 2022, following a tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks from 2016 to 2019. Brogdon's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia's Frank Batten School, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Virginia, earned in 2014. Additionally, Brogdon founded Hoops2O, an initiative that ran from 2018 to 2020.
