Nil Saru

Nil Saru possesses extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Vice President at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) since July 2024. As Managing Partner at NBSM since July 2009, Nil leads a prominent accounting firm specializing in audit, accounting services, business risk consulting, tax consulting, and mergers and acquisitions. Additional roles include Chairman of Saru Langha Trading Private Limited and past Chairman of Rising Star International School & College, with a tenure as Expert Board Member for the Securities Board of Nepal from April 2016 to April 2019. Prior experience includes a managerial position in fraud risk management at Standard Chartered Bank and team leadership at JRA & Associates, Chartered Accountants. Nil’s academic credentials include a PhD and M.Phil in Finance from Tribhuvan University, alongside a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor in Business Studies.
