Chuck Register currently serves as the Executive Leader for Church Planting & Missions Partnerships at the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, a position held since January 2009. Prior to this role, Chuck was the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi, from 1999 to 2008. In addition, Chuck was the Director of The Landrum P. Leavell II Center for Evangelism and Church Growth and an Associate Professor of Evangelism at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary from 1993 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Theology in Evangelism and Church Growth and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, along with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida.
