Carla Cunningham is an accomplished NC State Representative serving in the North Carolina General Assembly since January 2013. Prior to this role, Carla worked as a Hospice Nurse at Maxim Healthcare Services from April 2011 to April 2014, and also served as a consultant specializing in health education from April 2012 to December 2013. Carla's experience as a Healthcare Educator at HPE Healthcare Professionals Institute from June 2010 to March 2012 includes roles as a classroom and clinical instructor. Educationally, Carla holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Gaston College, and a Diploma in LPN from Central Piedmont Community College.
