Robert Brinson

Robert (Bob) Brinson is a dedicated public servant with a storied history of leadership and community involvement. A career Army veteran, they served as Battalion Commander and Detailed Inspector General, as well as an instructor at the US Army Inspector General School. Currently, Brinson serves as a State Senator and previously held the position of Alderman for the City of New Bern, NC. Their commitment to service extends to numerous volunteer roles, including leadership in local PTSA and veterans organizations. Brinson advocates for character-driven public service and aims to keep New Bern a great place to live, work, and play.
