Steve Bailey

Steve Bailey is a seasoned fiscal analyst currently serving at the North Carolina General Assembly since November 2019. Previously, Steve held various roles at The Pew Charitable Trusts from October 2013 to November 2019, including Manager of State Fiscal Health & Economic Growth, where responsibilities included leading teams of policy analysts and overseeing extensive 50-state research on fiscal practices. Steve's earlier positions at Pew focused on state fiscal issues, including capital budgeting and revenue forecasting. Prior to that, Steve contributed to Georgetown University's Office of Advancement from August 2009 to October 2013 in roles ranging from Analyst to Coordinator of Regional Programs. Steve holds a Master of Public Policy in Economics & Social Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington.
