Tim Longest serves as a Representative for House District 34 in the North Carolina General Assembly since January 2023. Concurrently, Tim Longest works as an Associate Attorney at Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman, focusing on class actions, appeals, and complex civil litigation on behalf of consumers, victims, and workers. Previous legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for Justice Robin E. Hudson at the Supreme Court of North Carolina and for Chief Judge Linda M. McGee at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Tim Longest has also held legal positions at the NC Department of Justice and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, and completed a legal internship with the North Carolina Senate. Tim Longest earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.), with honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
