David Brown

David Brown is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a comprehensive background in digital forensics and incident response. Currently serving as a Principal DFIR Consultant at NCC Group since April 2021, David has held multiple roles including Managing CIRT Consultant and Senior CIRT Consultant. Prior to this, David spent over 17 years at Police Scotland as a Police Officer and Computer Forensic Examiner, focusing on cyber investigations related to ransomware attacks, business email compromise, distributed denial of service, and network intrusion. David holds a Master's degree in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Glasgow Caledonian University.
