Kari Melander

Kari Melander has extensive experience in project management, engineering, and quality management within the geotechnical and facility management sectors. Melander began a career at the City of Helsinki as a Project Manager, focusing on geotechnical engineering from January 1991 to January 1995. Following this, a tenure at Ramboll Finland Oy from March 2001 to December 2004 included roles as Project Engineer and Project Manager, working on facility management and geotechnical projects, and advancing to Director of Project Support and Head of Department for site investigations. From January 2014 to December 2015, Melander served as Quality Manager at Sweco, then transitioned to Ramboll as Director of Project Support and Development from January 2016 to October 2021. Currently, Melander holds the position of Division Risk Manager at NCC since October 2021.
