Jairo Escobar

Jairo Escobar is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles since 2003. Currently serving as a mechanical engineer at Diseños y Servicios Povar, S. A. since August 2023, Jairo has also held multiple instructor positions at NCCER since December 2022. Previous roles include project engineer at Raset Panamá, S. A., and sales and project engineer at Bombas y Balineras, S. A. Jairo's background includes independent mechanical engineering services through EM+ and administrative responsibilities in gas plant operations at Tropigas de Panamá, where Jairo oversaw multiple operational aspects. Jairo began a career in engineering as an assistant, contributing to numerous projects in civil, mechanical, and electrical design and development, after graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá in 2009.
