Aaron Schoonmaker

Aaron Schoonmaker possesses extensive experience in media and content management, currently serving as the Social Media Coordinator for NCDOT since October 2018. Prior to this role, Aaron was the Content Marketing Manager at PrimeSport from August 2017 to June 2018. Aaron's career includes significant positions such as Senior Sports Web Editor at WRAL-TV from May 2011 to July 2017, Online Content Producer and Web Editor at Star-News in Wilmington from August 2008 to April 2011, and Sports Editor at Roswell Daily Record from February 2007 to July 2008. Additionally, Aaron worked as a Color Analyst at AM 1570 in early 2006. Educationally, Aaron holds two Bachelor's of Arts degrees from Colorado State University, one in TV/News and the other in Ethnic Studies, both completed between 2002 and 2006.
