David Lee is currently the Chief Engineer at the North Carolina Department of Transportation, where they work on the NCDOT ferry that transports people between Hatteras Island and Ocracoke Island. They previously served as a QMED at NCDOT from 2007 to 2011 and held roles as a loan officer at Mortgage Investors Corporation and a new car salesman at Sound Ford of Renton between 1998 and 2007. David also has experience in the US Navy as an aircrew survival equipmentman from 1985 to 1996, ensuring the maintenance and inspection of survival equipment. David completed their general education diploma at Laurel Jr. Sr. High School in Pennsylvania.
