Marcus Kiser

Marcus Kiser, PE, CPM is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Area Construction Engineer for NCDOT, Division 7, with a previous role as Resident Engineer in Division 9. Kiser has extensive expertise in managing multiple construction contracts, reviewing engineering plans, processing access permits, and overseeing roadway and structure projects. Prior experience includes serving as Utilities Services Coordinator/Project Manager for the City of Winston-Salem, where Kiser planned and coordinated special projects, and as an intern project engineer at Samet Corporation, contributing to cost estimates and project schedules. Kiser began a career in engineering with various internships at NCDOT and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and an Associate of Science Degree from Forsyth Technical Community College. Before entering the engineering field, Kiser served as a Senior Aviation Technician in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in avionics systems maintenance.
