Patrick Tami

Past President at NCEES

Patrick Tami has a diverse work experience. Patrick currently works as the Manager of the Geodetic Branch at the California Department of Water Resources since July 2019. In addition, they serve as the Past President of NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) since August 2019 and is responsible for developing and administering licensure exams for engineers and surveyors. Previously, they worked as the Principal Surveyor at R.E.Y. Engineers, Inc. from April 2013 to July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologist from June 2006 to June 2016. Patrick also held the position of Vice President at RBF Consulting, a Company of Michael Baker Corporation, from 1995 to 2012.

Patrick Tami's education history includes studying Surveying and Photogrammetry at California State University, Fresno. Patrick also attended Diablo Valley College, although the specific field of study is unknown. In addition to their education, Patrick Tami has obtained certifications as a Professional Land Surveyor from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in August 2018, and from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in December 1987.
