Dean Blewitt

Dean Blewitt is a seasoned professional in education and innovation, currently serving as a Senior Innovation and Investments Manager at NCFE since January 2018, where responsibilities include driving innovation in assessment, teaching, and learning, as well as managing the Social and Commercial Investment Portfolio. Prior roles at NCFE span from Innovation Project Manager to Learning Resource Developer and Team Lead, focusing on eLearning content production and project management. Dean has also contributed to educational governance as a School Governor for THE NORTHUMBERLAND CHURCH OF ENGLAND ACADEMY and holds extensive experience in teaching mathematics at various academic levels, having served as Curriculum Leader of Numeracy at St Joseph's Catholic Academy and as a Mathematics Teacher at Whickham Schools and Sports College. Dean's academic background includes a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics and a Joint Honours BSc in Accounting and Mathematics from Newcastle University.
