George Stevenson

Lead Assessment Developer at NCFE

George Stevenson's work experience includes various roles in different companies. George worked as a Bargaining and Investigative Researcher at Unite the Union since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Assessment Developer at NCFE starting from November 2021. From 2016, George was Module Lead Social and Cultural Studies at INTO Newcastle University, where they were responsible for module design, assessment design and delivery, and teaching. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton from October 2015 to January 2016, coding Mass Observers' written responses. Lastly, George was a PhD Researcher at Durham University from October 2012 to October 2015, focusing on women's socio-economic circumstances and their relationship to the women's liberation movement.

George Stevenson completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Dundee in 2010. George then pursued a Master of Arts degree in History from the same university, which they completed in 2010. Afterwards, they attended the University of Dundee again from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an MLitt degree in Greater Britain in the Twentieth Century. Finally, George Stevenson attended Durham University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in History, which they completed in 2015.
