Ben Brown is currently an Advocacy Communication Associate at the N.C. League of Municipalities since March 2016. Before that, Ben worked as a reporter for Insider State Government News Service and the News & Observer. Ben has experience reporting on various topics for publications such as Port City Daily and The State Port Pilot. Ben also worked as a music writer for Encore Magazine. Ben's background includes communication, advocacy, multimedia reporting, and music journalism.
