Peter Priest

Peter Priest is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles related to network operations and cybersecurity analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Response Engineer at Nclose since December 2024, Peter previously held positions as SOC Team Lead and Lead Analyst at Secure Sphere Consulting (Pty) Ltd, where responsibilities included incident monitoring, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. Before that, Peter worked as a Technical Consultant at Thembanet, managing NOC environments, and gained experience as a Junior NOC Engineer intern at NIL Learning. Peter's educational background includes a National Senior Certificate from Kearsney College, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, and ongoing training at Cisco Networking Academy.
