Richard Heyns

Richard Heyns is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and data analytics. As the Founder and CEO of nCodex Vector Database since July 2023, Richard focuses on innovative data solutions. Previously, Richard founded and led brytlyt from July 2013 to February 2024, introducing the world's first all-in-one browser-led BI platform with GPU-based AI capabilities. Richard also served as a Senior Technical Architect at dunnhumby from March 2011 to July 2013, managing a global team of developers to enhance the company's flagship product, "The Shop." Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and completed matric at Potchefstroom Boys High School.
