Tenesha Hartgrove is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She is a lifelong student in the area of accounting and finance having completed two Associate’s degrees, one in Finance and the other in Accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and a Master’s degree in Taxation. She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and is currently serving at the Vice-President of the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

Tenesha’s professional experience has spanned several industries including, taxes and accounting, real estate investing, information technology, and banking. Her diverse experience and her love of learning has developed a keen ability to look at things from different perspectives and develop strategic insights.

Ncrease Financial Services was born out of Tenesha’s lifelong desire to help others achieve their goals. Through her experience as a tax accountant working primarily with small business owners, she found that most entrepreneurs, while extremely knowledgeable and great at their area of expertise, many lacked the knowledge of accounting to truly have a good understanding of the financial aspects of their business.

As Warren Buffett said, “Accounting is the language of business.” Yet many small business owners struggle with this aspect of running their business.
