Rob Hay

Rob Hay currently serves as the Director of Intellectual Property at NCS Multistage, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this, Rob accumulated extensive experience at NOVA Chemicals from July 2013 to November 2022, holding various roles including Senior IP Counsel, Patent Generation, Intellectual Property Counsel and Patent Agent, and Student at Law. Rob also completed an articling secondment at Gowlings in 2014. Earlier in Rob's career, experience includes a decade as a Laboratory Scientist at Calgary Laboratory Services - Molecular Pathology from September 2001 to July 2010. Rob's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Calgary (2010-2013), a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Science from the same institution (1996-1998), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Waterloo (1989-1994).
