Kellie Reep, PE has a diverse work experience in the transportation engineering field. Kellie is currently a Senior Transportation Engineer at LJB Inc., starting in 2023. Before that, they worked at Stantec as an Associate, Senior Transportation Engineer from 2017 to 2023, and prior to that as a Transportation Engineer from 2009 to 2017. Kellie also gained experience as a Traffic Engineering Summer Intern at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. in 2008, and as a Congestion Management Intern at NCDOT in 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Construction Unit Intern at NCDOT in 2006. Kellie has also held various leadership roles at NCSITE, including Vice President from 2023, Secretary-Treasurer from 2022 to 2022, and Section Director/Scholarship Committee Chair from 2020 to 2021.

NCSITE

The North Carolina Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, known as NCSITE, is a professional society with members involved in transportation engineering activities. It is affiliated with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), an international professional society of transportation engineers. NCSITE was established to promote sound transportation engineering practices in the planning, design, operation, and management of transportation facilities and equipment for the safe, convenient, and efficient movement of people and goods. The NCSITE membership includes a broad range of transportation personnel–engineers, planners, educators, administrators, and technicians. Many modes of transportation are represented in the organization’s membership.
