Gideon Black

Gideon Black is the current Director at NCSY. Gideon has previously worked as the Director of Professional Recruitment and Leadership Development - JLIC at Orthodox Union from July 2015 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were the OU-JLIC Rabbi at New York University from July 2011 to June 2015.

Gideon Black was ordained a rabbi at Yeshiva University. Gideon then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Jewish Philosophy from the same school. Finally, they completed a Bachelor of Laws at UCL.

Gideon Black works with Frayda Glucksman - Director of Operations NCSY Relief Missions, Aryeh Wielgus - Director, and Jacob Bernstein - Director of Innovation & Strategic Expansion. Gideon Black reports to Moshe Benovitz, Managing Director.
