Sally Stephens is an experienced governance consultant currently serving as the Lead Governance Consultant at NCVO since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading governance initiatives, conducting governance reviews, and facilitating training for trustees and governance leaders. Prior to this role, Sally held various positions at Leeds University Union, notably as Leadership & Governance Support Manager, providing support to the Board of Trustees and developing governance structures. Additional experience includes roles in administration and outreach with Webdurance Ltd, Coding Futures Ltd, and the British Council, along with customer service at Waitrose. Academically, Sally holds a Research MA in Hispanic and Latin American Languages from the University of Leeds, complemented by a BA (Hons) in Arabic and Spanish from the same institution.
