Dave Acton

Dave Acton is a skilled metallurgist and welding inspector with extensive experience in pressure equipment inspection, metallurgy, and quality assurance. They completed an apprenticeship as a boilermaker in 1972 and obtained a Metallurgy Associate Diploma in 1980, along with various certifications in non-destructive testing and pressure vessel inspection. Throughout their career, Dave has held positions at several companies, including Bureau Veritas and NDE Solutions, where they are currently employed. They have received numerous awards for their performance in welding and hold a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
