Garrett Thelander is a Managing Director and Head of Workouts at Ready Capital, bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate to the role. They have held senior positions at leading banks and commercial brokerage firms, focusing on debt capital markets and structuring over $10 billion in transactions. After joining CIT Bank in 2018 as a Managing Director, they specialized in sourcing real estate loans primarily east of the Mississippi River. Previously, Garrett established the Capital Services Division at Massey Knakal, significantly impacting the New York metro area with nearly $1 billion in annual debt placements. Garrett's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
