Andreas Wirth has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Andreas started their career as a Field Engineer at NDT Global in 2007 and later became a Team Leader/Inspector Level 2, responsible for performing ILI all over the world. Andreas then transitioned to a role as Project Support, providing commercial and technical support for all global NDT offices.
In 2012, Andreas took on the position of Project Manager/Account Management at NDT Global, managing ILI projects for major energy companies such as Statoil, GDF Suez, Sigemi, Total France, and Centrica. Andreas also had additional responsibilities as a Contractor Representative, Technical Representative, and Contract Administrator for a leading energy company in the oil and gas production sector.
In 2015, Andreas became the Team Leader for Account Management at NDT Global, overseeing budget planning, headcount planning, and costs for the European OpCo. Andreas then moved up to the role of Manager Operations in 2016, where they were responsible for ensuring operational excellence in Inline Inspection Project execution for multiple regions. Andreas also acted as the deputy vice president of the EMEAA business.
Most recently, Andreas is serving as the Director of Operations at NDT Global. Andreas is responsible for delivering best-in-class ILI services to customers, supporting the growth and development of the EMEAA business, and ensuring continued success within the region. Andreas oversees the management of EMEAA operational locations, upskilling teams, cascading communications, and collaborating globally across all operations departments.
Prior to their time at NDT Global, Andreas worked as a Technician at Bruker Optics GmbH from 2006 to 2007 and as an Electronic Technician at Schuler SMG GmbH & Co. KG from 1999 to 2004.
Andreas Wirth completed their secondary education at Junior High School from 1989 to 1995. Andreas then pursued a degree in Electronic Technician at Schuler SMG GmbH & Co. KG from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 2004 to 2006, Andreas attended Heinrich-Hertz-Technical College, where they earned a Certified Engineer degree in Electrical Engineering Information Technology.
