John Carroll

John Carroll is currently the Global Technical Director and Manager of the Melbourne division for Vertical Transportation at NDY, where they leverage over 40 years of experience within the lift industry. They previously held key positions at companies such as Express Lift Co Ltd, Norman Disney & Young, and Arup, developing a robust expertise in lift design and engineering. John completed a Master's Degree in Lift Engineering from the University of Northampton and has attained MCIBSE and Chartered Engineer status. They have established a strong reputation by collaborating with major manufacturers and are a contributing author to the CIBSE Guide D on Vertical Transportation Systems in Buildings.
