Danielle E. Davis

Danielle E. Davis currently serves as Staff Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at NEA since September 2021. Prior to this role, Danielle held positions as Senior Staff Attorney and Staff Attorney at the Southern Poverty Law Center from August 2017 to July 2021 and worked as a Complaint Examiner at the District of Columbia Office of Police Complaints from October 2015 to July 2017. Earlier experience includes roles as a Staff Attorney at Advancement Project, Associate at Mehri & Skalet, PLLC, and Law Clerk for two United States District Courts in Louisiana. Danielle began legal career as a Find Justice Fellow at Mehri & Skalet, PLLC and gained early experience as a Legal Intern and Peggy Browning Fund Fellow. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
