Lizzy Stephan

Lizzy Stephan is an experienced professional in campaign strategy and policy advocacy, currently serving as a Senior Campaign & Election Specialist at NEA since June 2022. Previously, Lizzy held various leadership roles at Impactual LLC, including Managing Director and Program Director, and led pro-voter state policy campaigns as Campaign Lead from September 2020 to March 2021. Lizzy's extensive tenure at New Era Colorado from June 2012 to January 2020 included roles such as Strategic Advisor and Executive Director, where significant contributions were made to advocacy efforts and community organizing. Early experience includes a Public Interest Fellowship at The Bell Policy Center, where Lizzy testified on antipoverty legislation and created a social media metrics tool, as well as internships and tutoring positions related to sustainability and writing. Lizzy holds a BS in Sociology from Colorado College and additional training from the School for International Training and the New Organizing Institute.
