Aaron Root

Aaron Root is a seasoned design professional with a focus on user interface and digital design. Currently serving as Director of Design at Nearmap since May 2019, Aaron previously held the position of Senior UI Designer for Woolworths Supermarkets in a contract role from October 2018 to April 2019. Prior to that, Aaron was Lead UI Designer for Mobile Platforms at IG from May 2015 to September 2018 and worked as a Digital Designer at Addison Group London from September 2013 to May 2015, contributing to projects for FTSE100 clients. Aaron's early experience includes a role as a Digital Designer at The Group from September 2011 to August 2013. Educationally, Aaron obtained a BA (Hons) in Graphic Media with a focus on Graphic Design from the University of Essex between 2008 and 2011.
