Tom Celinski

Tom Celinski, PhD, is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Nearmap since February 2018, overseeing product management and corporate IT functions alongside technology and engineering groups. Prior to this role, Tom held several senior positions, including Executive Vice President of Technology and Engineering at Nearmap, Director of Software at Aristocrat, and VP Development at Hive Labs. With extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, geospatial data, and software development, Tom has played a pivotal role in high-scale projects across industries such as gaming and security. Tom began academic pursuits with a PhD in Adaptive Control of Sensory Perception in Robotic Systems from The Australian National University, complemented by dual degrees in Systems Engineering and Computer Science.
