Jon Gillibrand

Jon Gillibrand has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jon is currently the Global Director of IT & Cybersecurity at NEARSOL, where they lead multiple teams serving various business units and clients across continents. Prior to this, Jon held the position of Director of Implementation & Innovation at NEARSOL, where they managed large-scale implementation projects for call center finishes and infrastructure buildouts. Jon was also responsible for leading company-wide innovation initiatives.

Before joining NEARSOL, Jon worked as the Director of Software Development at Inversiones Cielo Azul S.A., where they project managed the development of bespoke applications to innovate operations. Jon also served as the Director of Operations and Director of Projects at Inversiones Comerciales y Agropecuarias Del Litoral S.A., where they oversaw various aspects of the business and managed the set-up of a new production business.

Additionally, Jon has experience as a Director of Projects - IT at Inversiones Cielo Azul S.A., where they focused on IT projects. Prior to that, they took a year-long break to travel the world and learn about different cultures. Jon also worked as a Product Specialist at Matrikon, where they demonstrated extensive knowledge in alarm management and OPC solutions.

Earlier in their career, Jon worked at Industrial Control Software Ltd as an IT Systems Engineer and later as the Lead IT Technical Engineer. Jon was responsible for installing and commissioning alarm management systems for clients worldwide and managed the support department. Jon also worked as an IT Support Technician at the same company, providing technical support during a critical transition period from MS-DOS to Windows NT platform.

Jon Gillibrand attended Chesterfield College of Technology from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in BND Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering. Jon'sfield of study focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Jon obtained various certifications from Procore Technologies. In December 2018, they became Procore Certified as a Project Manager in Core Tools, and in February 2019, they obtained certifications in Project Manager for Construction Financials and Field Productivity.
