Beatriz R. serves as the Head of Global Data Privacy at NEC Corporation since April 2022, where responsibilities include designing strategies for global data protection compliance in alignment with business needs and establishing comprehensive compliance programs across over 40 countries. Prior to this, Beatriz was the NEC EMEA Data Protection Officer from June 2018 to March 2022, where a robust EMEA-wide compliance program was developed, and stakeholders were advised on privacy policies and procedures. Beatriz's experience also includes roles as the Data Protection Officer for CBRE, where a GDPR framework was implemented, and the Legal IT & Data Privacy Manager at Telefonica Global Technology, focusing on legal compliance and contract negotiations. Beatriz holds a Master's in Corporate Legal Advisory from IE Business School and a Financial Law Master's from Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles.
